This is a one of a kind beech crochet hook. It was turned on the lathe and then I drilled and epoxy'd in a 3.75mm aluminium crochet hook.
I applied a pink acrylic finish that is quite transparent and you can the spalting and the grain running through.
The beech was foraged from a fallen tree I came across in the Welsh valleys. I split it up and let it dry for several years before turning it into this hook.
